Well ladies, I made it.  Nine months after surgery and I made goal.  I wanted to someday be "normal", have a BMI of 25.  Bingo, finally made it this past Monday.  Woo-hoo!

Went jeans shopping with my mom.  I'm now a BMI of 25, which at only 5'1" means a weight of 132lbs.  I'm wearing a size 4 petite.  My smallest size of my adult life has been a 10.  Well, until now.  It's weird.  I'm still adjusting.  But sometimes it's very, very good.

Got a new do to go with my new figure.  Now I've been out aquiring a new wardrobe.  Still have a few things to get but it's going really good so far.

Thanksgiving I had turkey, a little bit of broccoli cheese casserole, and a bite of sweet potato casserole.  It was all really good.  Not overeating felt good.  I played Sorry and deliberately lost so my five year old could win.  ;-)

Lord, give me stregth and when I lack it, patience.

Great job!  I haven't been on this forum much lately and was really wowed by the difference in your avatar.  Please post pics of the new do.  You must look absolutely fab!  Umber, you're a great inspiration to those of us still working our way throuh the steps to WLS.  I finally have my surgical consult tomorrow.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well and I can be successful as you when I'm nine months out.
