Black Friday Christmas Shopping

So every year, my daughter and I go and brave the crowds on Black Friday...actually we have a blast.  But for the last year or two, I have had a very hard time keeping up.  WELL THIS YEAR!!! I was able to go strong from 4:30 am when we left my house, until 3:00, when I finally arrived home.  I was tired, but not having to pop  4 advil every four hours!! 

We were joined by two friends this year....and my 2 1/2 year old grandson....what a trooper!!!  He did so well considering we went to the Trans Siberian Orchestra concert Wednesday night, and he finally crashed at 10:30 pm...then Thanksgiving (he did take a 4 hour nap!). Up at 4:00 am Friday, and shopped with us.  Thank goodness for my girlfriend, Barb, *****ally kept him amused while we were trying to shop. 

What a successful day...then yesterday, I got up at 7:00 am, made breakfast for hubby and I, started laundry, got everything ready for my candle show at a hostess house at 12:00, did the show, (3 hours), when and did more shopping (only 1 store this time), came home, made dinner.....and crashed!!!  Oh what a good tired it was though.

WOW WHAT A WEEKEND.  I didn't really realize it until I wrote it all down.  Today, I am doing laundry, picking up my totally trashed house!!  and having friends over for dinner.

Wow!  What a marathon you accomplished on BF!  Good for you!  Glad you had a good time.  Did you get any good deals?

oh I got some huge bargains.  Garmin GPS for $97, a small printer for $49 just to name a few.

I went to the TSO concert Wednesday night as well!  Wasn't it good?!  Glad you got some shopping done on BF, I did as well, went to Concord walmart and the mall.

Oh the concert was awesome.  Best one we have gone to yet...this was our 5th year!!!  We try to make it an annual "get the holiday season going" family outing.  How are you doing with everything?  How was your Thanksgiving?

it's a tradition to go shopping on black friday with me! i love it and really it's not all that bad as far as the crowds go! and did get a few great bargains!
