Hello from Cindita
Hi gang!
Sorry I've been gone for so long!!! I just have a ton of things going on. I do think of you all often, so I had a few minutes at work today so I figured I would post and say HELLO!!!
Craig is doing great, he is anxious for his first fill which will be in the beginning of December!
We have just returned from a cruise, which was incredible... very relaxing!!! You can see some pics here: http://www.carnivalconnections.com/cruisetalk/scrapblog/1009 165.aspx - I am excited to tell you that I achieved one of my weight loss goals while on the trip... I WENT HORSEBACK RIDING!!! That is something I would have NEVER done before losing all this weight!!!! It was incredible!!!!!!!!!
Unfortunately, while we were on the ship, me and 4 of my co-workers from my full time job found out that we were returning to no jobs as our company was sold! So, I'm now not sure what I am going to do... have been offered to go full time at one of my per diem jobs, but it doesn't offer me as many hours as what I am used to, so we'll see. I know everything happens for a reason.
The doctors are still up in the air as to whether or not I actually have Crohns disease! I am waiting to hear back from the Crohns specialist at Dartmouth after he reviews another of my tests. The good thing is that I am feeling really good... so either the Crohns meds are working, or whatever was causing my symptoms is GONE!
Lastly, I decided to change surgeons for my post op care, for a number of reasons. I had met my new surgeon while I was in the hospital last summer. He is great and I had my first fill with him yesterday. I am so glad to get a fill after having had to be loose for so long due to my other illness... I am ready to get back on the band wagon!!!!!!!!!

So glad to hear you are doing well. Love your pictures. You look so happy, and healthy. Craig looks great too. I had to laugh when I went on your profile, to find we have the same anniversary date....only I have many years on you!!!

Welcome back to the board -- and the cold weather! Looks like you had a great vacation, though I'm so sorry to hear about your job. But you're right, everything does happen for a reason. That's something my Mom has always said, and she's always right :)

Welcome back girl! Looks like you had a great time! Sorry to hear about the job. Was it something you were all expecting? Yikes. Well hope our place can use you more! I will REALLY like to have you around!
PS. I go for my pre ops tommorrow! I am scared regarding my weight though, as the last 2 wks I have been trying NOT to do the last meal thing every meal. LOL
