Road Trip to Nashua Nutrition
Hi All,
I just thougt I would post about my latest find.
At 10 months post op I am getting bored with the usual protein powders and routine.
My dietician had given me a sample to Protein Hot Chocolate- and I LOVED it. (Mint Chocolate)
It has 15 grams of protein and does not have the little floaties that other protien drinks have when heated.
So, I took a little Road Trip to Nashua Nutrition.
They are located right on 101A in Nashua- really easy to find.
The owners were there and offered all kinds of feedback about popular sellers etc...
I ended up with a bag full of crunchy protien filled snacks, protein bars, my Hot Chocolate (they had a mocha, amaretto, mint, regular, capucinno....)
I have been doing well getting most of my protein in- but these extra new treats will keep me from getting BORED. (Plus the Hot Chocolate is great for a rainy NH day (like today) UGH!!)
So, if you are local- It is definately worth the trip- prices are not "bad"- I think I walked out of there with a bag full of stuff for $50.00.
They said that they mostly sell via the web- so I assume thay have their own website.
Now if I only had remembered to hit Trader Joes in Nashua, my trip would have been complete!
Have a great weekend- rain and all- I guess no Deerfield Fair for us- BUMMER!

Although both of the stores are in Nashua, Trader Joes is really right on the Tyngsboro,MA line.
I get off at exit 1 (Spitbrook Rd) and head south on DW highway. TJ's is on the Right in a plaza near a Cinema, Outback....
Nashu Nutrition is off of exit 8 and 101A right near the Golds Gym.
So although they are both in Nashua, they are probably at least 15 minutes away from each other.
Happy Travels.

I love Nasua Nutrition! I found them when they were still at their old location (near the Walmart in Amherst). They are great folks to deal with and I make the trip down to them periodically. I haven't had surgery yet, but I've been doing "research" -that is taste-test research- in preparation for when I am finally post-op. I personally think their chili mix is great and I like the soup mixes, too. I also buy AnyWhey from them. I've tried their pudding/shake mixes but , while they tasted fine, I've been going with the chocolate and vanilla canisters of Body Fortress that WalMart carries (cheaper and a good protein source). But, overall, I give Nasua Nutrition two thumbs up!
