A Set Back

Hello Folks,
   First - well wishes to Jenn!  I've run into a slight set back.  Severe diarrhea and that led to dehydration.  I'm going to be tested for c difficile and maybe it is just a lactose or soy milk intolerance issue?  Had to go to the ER for hydration and they found something elevated (my "dymler") and got all excited I could have a blood clot in the lungs.  XRAY and ct scan all clear-thank goodness.  Back home after IV fluids but still have the trots.  Pretty miserable right now.  Nancy and Dr Gens have been wonderful and I just wish I could have gotten to them in Portsmouth yesterday but diarrhea made the long trip undoable.  Rats.  But they are on top of things and we'll get this sorted out.  Very weak though.  Thinking of you and will post as soon as I'm a bit stronger.  Way to go, Jenn!  Treading

Glad to hear from you Treading, and my thoughts are with you!  Hope they find the culprit of the diarrhea and fix ya!

I was getting worried when we had not heard from you at all.  Hope you are doing better.  Keep us informed, and rest, rest, rest.

So sorry to hear it.  Hopefully you'll be feeling better soon.  It's so rough to finally get through surgery and be on the road to recovery when wham - something new hits you.  :-(  Let us know when you're feeling up to it and have the energy to hang out on here with us.  We miss you. 

I hope you are already feeling better.  I had dehydration after my surgery.  It was awful.

I gotta say I was sad to see you there, you poor thing.  I am glad you are home and resting up now.  I think  I am going to pick up lactaid as I am also having an intolerance I think.
