9/17 QOTD: Brand Loyalty

Are you loyal to certain brands and stores?

I guess it depends on what I'm buying.  If it's food, I usually shop at Stop & Shop (but because I get gas points and $10 coupons).  There are some brands that I always buy, like Scott paper towels and toilet paper.  But there are other things that I'll buy based on value, so I'll get store brands too.  We also like to patronize the mom & pop stores as opposed to the big boxes sometimes.  For instance, DH and I would much rather shop at Aubin Hardware than Home Depot or Lowe's.  As for clothing stores, I still don't know what "my' store is as I'm still trying to figure out what my style is these days.  I used to love Dress Barn Woman when I was heavy.  Lately, I've done a lot of shopping at JC Penney, but I'd like to check out places like Kohl's, Marshall's & TJ Maxx, all places I never shopped pre-op.

I am usually not a "brand" shopper.  Sometimes I find that the store brand is much better than the name brand.  I also look for bargains, and buy what is on sale many times.  I do, though have to buy a good name brand of toilet paper.  Sounds weird, but I have a hard time buying anything other than Quilted Northern!!!  As for stores, my absolute favorite is Kohl's, although I am also a big Walmart shopper.  Our favorite places to buy meat is Lee Circle Grocery and Calef's Fine Foods.  What fabulous meats and specialty cuts they have.  Of course it is more expensive, so we don't buy daily meats there, but what a treat!!

I love Calef's!  I've never bought the meat there, but we go to the country store to get the rat trap cheese -- that is such a treat for me!

I like Tide, Scotts TP, Pine-sol and well---I use to love Diet coke.....

Everything else is up for grabs.
