Busy, busy, busy
Pre-surgery, I swore I wouldn't drop off the OH radar after I had surgery and I've already proven myself a liar. I've not been around much. I'm sorry to all my friends and the new friends I haven't met yet...
So...
HELLOOOOOOO everyone!
I've been busy recently, first with work, then with weddings & showers. Tomorrow we leave for Aruba (yippee!!!) for another wedding. When we get back, we'll have a few weeks to move our camper and winterize it, then I can relax for a little while until the next wedding - then it's just about time for the holidays. Whew!
As far as my weight loss since surgery, I'm pretty much stalled right now. I'm in desparate need of a fill. Between the poor timing of my vacation (Dr. P. wouldn't give me a fill right before leaving the country - which I totally agree with), and her unfortunate back problem (has anyone heard how she's feeling?) which moved out appointments, it's going to be over 2 months after surgery that I'll get my first fill. I've been eating more than I'd like to, so I'm at least trying to make them healthy choices. I'm also not getting the amount of exercise I'd like to (unless you count running errands). DH and I've already made a pact that we're not going to breakfast while on vacation until we've walked at least a half hour on the beach. We'll also be swimming and doing more walking during the day, but this will guarantee at least a half hour each day with no questions.
We're all packed, and I'm finally sitting down, prepping to watch the Pats game. I wanted to stop in and say that I'm thinking of all of you. Say hello to everyone at the support meeting tomorrow in Derry. Take care, all, and I'll talk to you next week!
