Treading, just wanted to wish you good luck this week with your surgery.  You will do great.  I think you are the most prepared person I know!!!  Just think, you will soon be a loser, just like the rest of us!!!!!

Thinking of you!!

Good Luck!!!  I'll be thinking about you.  Will your hubby be able to give us an update?

Why thank you, Martha, that is quite a compliment.  I am always prepared but there is a very true saying... Perfectionism does not lead to perfection.  I am living proof of that, man.  I've just returned from a lovely ride with DH and the 3 doggies.  We drove all around Lake Sunapee.  Oh, I still have loads I could do but I've done enough and it was good to see some of the world's beauty.  What a moon there is tonight!
I'll take a good walk with the dogs now, have a last swim, and hit the hay.  This will be my final pre-op post because we will head to the hospital mid-morning so I we can check into the hotel and then get to my PICC line procedure for 1 PM.  I don't have a laptop or any of the newer gadgets so I'm signing off for the duration.
I am doing fine so far.  Oh, I'm anxious and distracted but I am not afraid.  Making the decision to do this was a hard and terrifying process for me.  But once I made up  my mind, it was the old "hand-to the plow" sort of mentality.  It's already been a rewarding journey and I think the best is yet to come.  Your kindnesses and the laughs and triumphs we've shared have made the road all the more worth traveling.  Wish me well and stay well in turn.  I'll see you on the other side of this.  Treading

I know you won't read this until after but you will be in my thoughts and prayers for a safe surgery and a quick recovery.  Welcome in advance to the Loser's Bench!
