What do you LIKE about your job?

I love the fact that I get the opportunity to make a difference in a kid's life.  I am a Mental Health Counselor.  I work on a secure psychiatric unit with kids ages 10-17. 

Wow that is awesome.  It takes a special person to do that work. 

I like my job because of the people I work with, and the freedom I have.  My boss is terrific, and my co-workers are good friends.  I also like what I do, because I help people through a very tough time.  I am a certified legal assistant specializing in Probate. 

Wow, just having gone through probate with my husband's parents estate, I would say that YOU'RE the special person!  I know that what I do is not for everyone, I suppose the same is true for you.  It's nice to be able to help people though, isn't it?

Thanks!  But, naah, I'm just someone with a job they really like.  It's easy to go to work when you like what you do.  I get my days where I get sick of the boss and the BS (we have both of those, lol). 

I can say that since my weight loss my job is a lot easier to do and more enjoyable.

I love the people i work with. We really care about each other - well most of us. We get to help people too. I work at a credit union where it's all aobut our members. I've been in banking over 30 years and started at a credit union only 8 years ago. I can tell you honestly there is a huge difference.

I agree with Rosemary....you are a saint.  I have seen some of the kids being in the system, because my boss represented some.  I know how very difficult it can be. 

I love working probate.  It is so interesting, something new around every corner.  It only gets stressful if I don't "move" fast enough and the heirs get antsy for the money.  But I can't blame them at all.  At least I can help them get to that part, especially if the probate is difficult.
