My trip to Clark's Trading Post
So, this was my first big outing since surgery. Two weeks post op. I am on mushy foods at this point. I took a bag of soy chip type stuff I got online----know that it is okay because it melts in your mouth....very yummy by the way from Kay's Bariatrics I think.
Anyways. We are at the little snack shack thing and I am looking at the menu. Hummm...what about the tuna sandwhich? I ask and it was just tuna and mayo. Okay. (BTW, why is a crappy tuna sandwhich almost $2 more than a burger?). My kids got burgers and fries and a frappe. I got a milk. I ate the tuna out of the sandwhich and no bread or lettuce/tomato for me (no raw veggies yet!). I was FULL. FULL----way fuller than I have been on cream soup and protien pudding!
I watched them down the burgers and fries and frappe...and then the 14 yr old asks for a soda. LOL. Within about an hour they were asking for ice cream.
Being at home, I have found it very tempting to 'graze' but I was much more satisfied being out and about. I am hoping that getting back to work tomorrow will help me out with that.
Anyways, fun was had by all. My three year old really liked the train---we had a long talk about the wolfman before so he was all set.
Peace,
Michelle
