Got a date. Again.

But I know nothing more than that.  It was like pulling teeth to find that out, too.  Apparently I was rescheduled and never told.  Prolly won't get in with Gens or Looser as they are busy.  No idea if they even asked.

Not particularly happy with Atlantic Surgical - at least one person who has been less than cordial to me.  No idea if i have to go back for preop stuff again either.  Dr. P is apparently doing surgeries this week though, so she must be healing well!

9/24 is my date.  Of course I hope I find out more later.

Woohoo, Jenn!  A new date.  That's great.  And wonderful to hear that Dr. P is already up and working.  Wow!  I didn't want to say anything but I was home 12 weeks post -op and then on part-time for 12 more weeks for both of my back surgeries.  Kind of makes me think I had the wrong surgeons! LOL.  No matter what, this wasn't going to be an easy thing so I'm glad you're focused on your new date at last.  How are you feeling?  Treading

Jenn, that's great news! Stay focused on your new date. I'm not to fond of someone at AS myself but you know truly they don't matter at all. It's the doctors that count and they are top notch. September will fly by!!!

I am so happy for you Jenn.  Keep that good spirit going.  I know it is hard.  I think many of us have had at least one unhappy moment with the staff, but I love Dr. Gens, so he makes up for it.  I just figure that they are jealous because we are able to have the surgery and they can't or won't.  So just keep that thought, and your date will be here before you know it.

Jenn, Congratulations on the new date.  I also have had problems with one of the staff at AS, so I guess it's not a one time occurrence.  The doctor's of course are the greatest, just keep that in mind.  This month will hopefully go by as fast as my did.  I don't see you having to go through the pre-op again except the last lab work the day or two before surgery.  I  hope everything goes well with you.

I found the bariatric program staff to be great, never had any problems with Nancy, the doctors, the nut, etc.  But the secreataries and desk staff at the doctor's accual OFFICES were less than friendly.  One of them was really quite rude and when I told Nancy she said it wasn't okay and she'd follow up on it.  *sigh*

Glad to hear about your new date though.  I hope all your new pre-op stuff goes quickly with as little extra hassle for you as possible.  Best of luck.

Lord, give me stregth and when I lack it, patience.

I too have been less than impressed with Atlantic Surgical.  (I'm relieved to know that I'm not the only one!)

Anyway, congrats on the new date.  I hope the time goes by quickly for you.  :)
