Wow moment

I just have to share.  Last night, I had literally 20 minutes free so I decided to go to Macy's and see what I could find on sale.  I quickly grabbed a pair of shorts off the rack in the size 8 section that I liked.  When I put them on, they buttoned and zipped, but were a little snug -- not too much, but I don't know how much more weight I'll lose at this point, so I decided not to buy them.  Anyway, when I was putting them back on the hanger, I noticed that they were actually a size 4, and had been put in the wrong place on the rack.  A size 4!  I can't believe I actually zipped them up.  I started this journey a size 22 (and actually my all-time high was size 24).

HOLY COW A 4!!!  Ive been dreaming of an 8 and holding steady in a 10 for a while.  If you don't mind me asking how tall are you?  Just wondering when I may see that single digit!!!
Keep up the good work!

I'm 5'3" and I weigh 141.  I still find it hard to believe that I put on a 4 last night, but I did.  All I can say is that maybe it ran big.  But I'm definitely wearing 6s and 8s now.  Woo hoo!

Go Kathy, woohoo!!!!  That is so great, I remember my excitement when I got into size 8 pants. I wanted to wear them inside out so the size tag showed...lol  Enjoy that feeling, go back and get them, just 7 lbs to go and with that I bet they won't feel snug any more.

Wow- that's awesome!  Great job!!

I don't think I've ever been in single digits!  I remember wearing a size 12 when I was in high school.

That's great Kathy. A 4 from a 24!!! Nice way to start the weekend. Go back and get them - they'll fit perfectly for Jamacia. :)

How wonderful for you, Kathy!  Well done.  I know right down to my toes that I will always marvel at being able to shop in "normal" store and find things that fit right off the shelf.  I'm 5'2" so I need petites.  But most stores don't carry 22 petites.  I am truly looking forward to the freedom to think first about what I like and second about whether it will fit.  A size 4?  Wow!

How exciting!  I am dreaming of the day that my size begins with a 1 and not a 2!!!

Single digits seem almost-----surreal!
