Biggest annoyance in your life right now? Having to take 2 meds that are very bitter, by crushing them. Can't figure out a better way!!

My friend Melissa. She wants to have the surgery, but is just not ready mentally. She is living through me right now!!
I am a certified legal assistant (paralegal). I work in the probate, estate planning field.
Biggest annoyance in your life right now? Not being able to have my sugery today. And not knowing when it will be when I can reschedule.

Are you jealous of anyone? Envious sometimes, yes. Not really jealous though. I try to remember I am really lucky with what I have.
No idea although someone always has more than someone else.

Biggest annoyance in your life right now? I'm feeling so great these days that I don't think anything can annoy me right now. If I had to choose something, I'd say all my loose skin becaue I don't know when or if I'll ever be able to get rid of it.

Biggest annoyance in your life right now? My daughters boyfriend...I have that mother's instinct that he may be a bit controlling. I just don't get a very good feeling. He doesn't like to come to any of our family get togethers but expects her to go with him to all of his. I saw them last Saturday night for a few minutes and he didn't say 2 words. i think he doesn't want to share her.

Yes and it's very sad. It's destroying our friendship. It started when I got promoted in March and has escalated since my surgery.
most days get up and work out then go to work. I walk at lunch as well. I try to keep occupied at night because that's a bad time for me. According to Bill I spend way to much time on my computer.

Biggest annoyance in your life right now? Not being able to lift. Oh my, I forgot how much I lift every day....everything from helping the three yr old into the car seat to lugging 15 bags of groceries in from the car to---the weed wacker. I picked up the week wacker this morning (don't ask why I thought that was smart just one week after surgery.....just DONT ASK!) and promptly put it back down.....

I hate shoes. I think heels were created by men and are a sign of womens oppression. They make it harder to run away from the men who are chasing them around the desk. Thats my theory and I am sticking to it. My favorites---my good ole New Balance sneakers.
Maybe. I know that when my husband died there was some buzz about the insurance money I got.....give me a break, I have three kids to raise and it wasn't even enough to pay off the mortgage!
Well....summers or the rest of the year? I work part time during the school year but during summers I can be found tending to the kids, swimming in the pool and reading OH!!

Michelle, can you ever imagine ever being jealous of someone loosing their spouse? About 8 months after my husband died I took my girls on a cruise - they were teenagers. A couple of weeks after we returned I had to go to a wake and while I was expressing my sympathies The woman's daughter in law spoke up and in a very loud voice said "Just think you'll be going on a cruise with Dad's money too just like Rosemary." This happened almost 12 years ago and I still can't wrap my head around it.
I am so happy you found the courage to have surgery - I know your kids will thank you for it when they are old enough to understand. I admire you.

I was able to get a really good deal on a mini-van about 5 months after my husband died. Some old couple bought it new, had it for about 1,800 miles and decided they didn't want it. Well, I was VERY lucky to be able to pay cash for it. Sitting at the dinner table my BROTHER-In-LAW says, "Well, it must be NICE to be able to pay cash for a car." I looked at him with BIG tears in my eyes and said, "I would gladly, gladly trade that car in for your brother any day...." That put an end to that conversation.
I wouldn't wish young widowhood on anyone. It sucks. However, two years out and I will say that just like after surgery----every day gets a little bit better!
