Jaimbry, I hope you don;t have Dr. P for your surgeon.  I just got a call from Atlantic Surgical saying Dr. P is ill and will be out for 1 to 2 WEEKS.  It sounds serious, but also means my surgery would be cancelled Wednesday.  I will find out today by the end of the day if the one assisting Dr. P can do the surgery and then they need to find someone to assist him.

Dear god I am so distraught right now.   I've had my mind and body ready for this for over a month and especially the past week.  2 DAYS before.  Ugh!

I really hope Dr. Gens or Looser or both can step in and do this.  If you can foward some good thoughts to Portsmouth so they can still do my surgery please do!

FWIW, I had my blood work done this morning too.  I will be especially angry if I wasted a trip to get THAT done.

Oh that just stinks.  I am sending good thoughts, as many as I can!!!  Let us know as soon as you can. 

My Godfrey!  Wow.  I can easily imagine that you are half-mad.  I'm three weeks away and I am struggling every moment NOT to be thinking about the surgery and so on.  Oh Jenn, I so wish this wasn't happening to you.  BUT if they come through and you pull Gens as either your primary or secondary - I can assure you you will be pleased.  Gens is so very personable and reassuring.  I know Looser is a fine surgeon, too.  So, you'll be just fine.  I'm sitting with fingers crossed and bearing down hard hoping your surgery date won't be moved. 

Life is always educational.  I've been forcing myself to keep in mind that I could get sick and my date may have to change but I never thought about what all could happen to Gens and the others.  Great Scott, I hope it isn't contagious (what Dr. P has).  Treading

Poor Dr. P.  I know Dr. Gens will step up unless he already has surgeries scheduled that day.  Nancy Seesman was telling me he still did three surgeries over his VACATION WEEK.  She said he put in for vacation one week and then ended up at the hospital almost as much as usual.  I am sure Dr. L & G will try to cover it.  If they have to reschedule I'm sure you'll get priority.  Good luck and LET US KNOW HOW IT TURNS OUT.

OMG - that just stinks about Dr. P!  I hope they can rearrange their schedules to fit everyone in.  I'm sure there are a lot of other people in the same position.

Welp, my surgery for Wednesday is officially cancelled.  Next available date is 3.5 weeks from now - if I can manage to get a date with Gens or Looser it would be a little sooner but not this week and prolly not next.

I am so upset right now, folks.  I've mentally prepped for this, physically prepped for this and feel like I've been kicked in the nuts.
