Follow-up

I just came back from seeing Nancy and Dr. Gens.  They are a little concerned about my left shoulder discomfort, but otherwise very pleased with my progress.  I am still not hungry at all, and I lost 5.5 pounds!  I am very excited about that!!!

That's great! You should be so pleased.
Has your shoulder been bothering you since surgery? I'm aksing because my right shoulder bothered me for weeks after my surgery. It's finally feeling better. I joked that I thought they dropped me on it :)

It has bothered me since my surgery.  I thought it was the gas radiating up from my abdomen, but I guess it is something else.  Dr. Gens did tell me that he laid me on my side left side, and he wondered if that is the reason!!!  I hope it goes away soon.  But other than being a bit tired, I am feeling great, and on the right side of the bench now!!!!
