What are you doing this weekend?


We are going to Vermont for a few days.  I have GOT to remember to ask DH to take a picture of me.  I am four weeks out today, and I bought a little photo album to chronicle this "journey."  I want to put a picture of me in it each month around the anniversary of my surgery, so I can see how much I change over the next two years.

Getting ready for my surger on 8/26   and of course working, cleaning house, going to church etc, etc.

We are going to our camp this weekend in Center Ossipee.  Haven't been for two weeks.  I am only a week out of surgery, so I can't go swimming, so I may just hang out at the camp, or on the beach.  I am sorting through old photos and have a good book!!

Have fun in Vermont.  I love it there.  My son went to job corps in Vergennes, and the ride to see him was so beautiful, except going by Killington in the middle of winter!!! 

I went to Walmart yesterday and found a 24 page photo album called "journey".  Well I just had to get it!!!!

BBQ with the in-laws (terrific people, really) and the first get together since we lost Mom. 

We will be celebrating 2 birthdays this weekend.  My son will be 25 on Tuesday, and our grandson will be 1 yr old on Monday!  Very glad that the weather is going to be cooperating with our outdoor plans!

I wish I had had more photos taken along the way.  Now that I am 16 months out, I only have vague recollection of where I was at different milestones along the way.  I am going to make sure Don takes at least one picture this weekend, since the last one I have is from Christmas (my avitar picture).

My daughter, husband and grandson are coming tomorrow and staying until Saturday night.
I love when they visit. Saturday will spend by the pool. On Sunday we all will be going to a birthday party in MA. Just think next weekend is Labor Day. Where did this summer go?
