1 week!!

I'm not sure whatthe other blood test was for, but it was the hospital's requirement, not the surgeon's office.  Definitely annoying, especially when you have to pay for childcare.  Still, it's just a little hoop to jump through, all things considered.  :) 

That is really strange, I did not have to go back, and my pre-op was almost a full month from my surgery.

It is like everything else - you buy a fridge and you love this fridge and you never have any problems with it - I buy the exact same fridge and it gives me nothing but headaches and I wonder why I bought the darn thing!

Who is to say that she wouldn't have developed those problems with or without the surgery.

You are well on your way and soon you will be using this great tool to get healthy and fit.

On another note - what exactly do that test on for the NUT test?  I go for my preop on the 29th - Hopefully you will be leaving the hospital that day.  My surgery is the 5th of Sept so I am not so far behind you.

Hi Jenn,
My surgery is the day before yours!! I have Dr Gens with Dr. P assisting.  I had my pre-op this past monday and have to go in again next monday for the last of the blood work.  The hospital siad it was for a type and cross match, I guess that's in case you need blood transfusion??
Maybe I'll see you there.  I have various Dr appts on Monday until about 1pm and will be going for the last blood test around then.  Jaimby

Jaimbry,  very cool your surgery is the day before!  Maybe we can be walking buddies. LOL.  BEST of luck to you and thanks for the clarification on coming back for more blood work before surgery. :)

Hey sorry, kind of spouted off back there!!   I guess that is what pushes my buttons.  I am usually not like that.

I'm glad it went well for you Jenn. The next 6 days will drag but really it will be here before you know it. It's very normal for the questions to happen. You will be very happy you made this decision. It changes everything - I feel so much better :)
