I go by Michele online, but that isn't my real name.  I am going to turn 37 in less than a month.  (I scheduled my six week follow up, which will probably be when I get my first fill, for my birthday!!  LOL!)

I teach elementary school, and have been a teacher since 1993.  I have a bachelor's degree in elementary education and a master's in educational leadership.

I've been married for eight years and have a three year old son. (Pictures available upon request!)  My hobbies include photography, scrapbooking, geocaching, and wheresgeorge.com .  I enjoy reading, but ever since my son was born, I've had trouble concentrating enough to enjoy a good book.  I love playing word games (boggle anyone?) and other puzzles like Sudoku.

During the summer I don't work, other than tending to my son's needs!  Obviously, I have more time online during the summer than during the school year.  When I am online, I am most likely catching up on email, checking out myspace or facebook, playing word games against friends, or reading various message boards, like this one.  :)

So, how about you?  Share as much or as little as you please.

Ok, let's see - I just turned 46 yrs old.  Each year gets better so I am fine with aging.  I am a biologist by education and experience.  I taught biology type courses at Stony Brook University and then went to teaching high school and ended up doing 3 years of being the bio science teacher for 7th graders.  I left teaching in 98 and I have worked since for NH State in the labs.  Love my work.  Love working for the State.

I've been very happily married for 24 years with no children.  Our Little Brother (BB-LB Program) is getting married in October and we are thrilled to bits!

I love the my neighborhood and neighbors, the outdoors, hiking, walking with dogs, dogs, sewing, swimming, dogs, knitting, crochet, animals, waking with dogs, birds, home decorating,  and flower gardens.  I love to do and I do too much.  I have a very bad back and ongoing spine disease issues that really make life hard at times.

Fall is my favorite season.  I love color.  I am always trying to make things look nicer.  Oh, and my real name really is Treadingh2o!  What were my parents thinking?  Wink.

I love fall too, as far as seasons go.  I hope I get a chance to go over to the pumpkin festival in Keene this year.  The weather hasn't cooperated for the last few years!

Hi, well my real name is Martha...named after my mother's great great aunt (ugh).  I turned the big 5-0 this year.  I have been married 30 years, and have two children. My husband is my high school sweetheart.   My daughter is a analytical chemist.  She is married and the mother to my wonderful grandson, Cameron (pictures on my page). They live close, so I am eternally grateful.  My son works with my husband at our body shop and restoration business in Madbury NH.  He is engaged, but no date right now.  I am a certified legal assistant/paralegal for a sole practitioner in Rochester. I have been working with him for 11 years.  I do all of the probate and estate planning for the practice.  I also do the bookkeeping for our business.  I am "bamma" to Cameron...hence my online name!!  My husband is "Papi.  I love camping, water skiing, snow skiing, snowmobiling, watch the birds in my yard, and most of all being with Cameron.  I read when I can, my favorite authors are Dean Koontz and John Grisham.  We have two dogs Pebbles and Mya.  Pebbles is a Jack Russell Terrier (9 mo) and Mya is a Carlin Pincher (3 mo).   I cannot wait to be able to do everything that I want to do with my grandson.

Do you ever read James Patterson's books?  He's my all time favorite author.  I did actually sit down and read one of John Grisham's more recent books-  the Appeal.  It was pretty good.  Very thought provoking, IMO!

I have read James Patterson, I like him a lot.  I am reading The Appeal right now.  I have read everyone of Grisham's books.  I have them all!!  I just finished reading the "Odd Thomas" books by Dean Koontz.  Very bizarre.

I've never read any of dean koontz's books.  I think I checked one out from the library but could'nt get into it.  Maybe I should try again!

I also used to really enjoy patricia Cornwell's books, but then she --  I don't know exactly, but it seems like she started to lose her mind a little!  LOL!

He is quite bizarre, and some of his books do take a while to get into.  Door to December was a really good one.  So wasn't Winter Moon.  Those two books got me hooked.  I have never read Patricia Cornwell.  I was really into Danielle Steele many years ago, but then I found Koontz!

My name is susan and I am 53 (will turn 54 in Dec).  I have been married nearly 27 yrs. to my wonderful husband ,Roger.  I am just sarting this weight loss surgery adventure, going to my 1st info meeting, have appontment with PCP.

I am a pediatric RN and I love it!  I prefer working private duty, but sisnce moving to NH 2 yrs ago, I have been working at Concord Hospital.  We have 2 children.  My son Adam lives in Manchester and works in accounts at Fidelity. Today is his BD, he turned 24!  My daughter Emily is a NICU nurse at Ciccinatti Children's hospital.  She is 25 and getting married Sept 2009 to a great guy.  My husband also works at fidelity as a systems anylyst.

We moved to NH about 2 yrs ago, and bought a home in Henniker.  It is so beautiful here, I love to just sit on the porch and watch the mountains!  We love to camp, travel, discover neat local places.  We have a 3 yr old long haired Daschound (Obe), and spoil him rotten!  I go back and forth to Ohio every 3-4 months to see my family, my mother has alzheimers, so i try to give my dad and sister a break when possible.  I spend way too much time on computer, on message boards and Ebay, I am a bit of a Vera Bradley addict!  Thaks for all the great info I have been getting from reading these boards, they have only reinforced to me that this is exactly what I need to do!

My name is Kathy (Kathleen).  I'm 51 years old.  I've been married almost 30 years (next May), and my husband and I have two daughters, one is 27 and the sales manager at one of the Best Buys here in NH, and the other is 22, and she just graduated from St. Anselm College, passed her boards, and is now an RN at CMC.  (She actually works on D-100, which is the floor where all the WLS post-ops go after surgery.  So if any of you are having your WLS done at CMC, and you get a nice nurse named Holly, say hi to her.)  I graduated from Notre Dame College with an A.A. in Legal Secretarial Studies (does anyone even have a degree called that anymore - ???).  I worked in a local law firm for over 12 years as a secretary and then as a paralegal.  For the last 15 years, I've worked for the government (U.S. Courts), and I absolutely love my job and all the people I work with.

I'm an animal lover.  Currently, we have a beagle, who is a royal pain in the you-know-what, but we love him to death.  We also have a cat, but now he lives with our daughter and keeps her company.

I love to knit and garden.  I also enjoy cooking (when I have the time) and reading.  My Mom lives on a beautiful lake, so we're up there every weekend that we can be.  I love baseball - any kind from little league to Fisher Cats (we're season ticket holders) to the Red Sox.  Last year, my family and I went to Baltimore to see the Sox play at Camden Yards just a couple of weeks before my surgery, which was a lot of fun.  My husband and I try to go to the tropics (mostly the Playa del Carmen area of Mexico) every year.  For the last 2 or 3 years, our children and their significant others have joined us also.  I'd like to think that they'll all join us again next March, but one daughter is getting married, so I think that she and her finace won't be able to go to Mexico or Jamaica (or wherever we end up) in the spring and a honeymoon in the summer too.

I also like to do the crossword, cryptoquip and sudoku in the Union Leader everyday.

I've had a weight problem since the age of 5, tried every diet in the book, and only regret that I didn't have this surgery sooner.  I've learned to love getting my exercise in, whether it's walking to work or wherever or working out at the gym, although I love being outside much more than being inside on a piece of cardio equipment.  Since I've lost the weight, my husband says that I've become high maintenance.  He's right, and I don't care.  I get my nails done every couple of weeks and/or a pedicure.  I spend more time on hair and make-up, and I like dressing up -- all things that I didn't think I was good enough for pre-op (sad, I know.)

Anyway, life's been good to me, and I've never felt better than I do right now.
