2nd appt with Dr

I just got back home a little while ago.  Had my second appt with Dr Gens and everything is all set.  I needed to weigh 249 for the surgery and weighed in at 240!!!   Late coming home b/c I told my daughter I'd take them to Olive Garden today.  I had soup and salad and they had that plus their meals, I did order a meal but decided I would just bring it home. 
I have pre-op on the 18th and then have to be at hospital by 8am on the 26th for surgery.   I was able to drop off my diability forms to have them filled out.  They wanted to wait until I have had the surgery, but I explained that my work place wants them before I go out so that I won't have to be w/o pay for the extra week or two for the disability to kick in.  Hopefully that will go all right.  Only 2 weeks left before I join the losing side.

I'm off to bed as I have to go to work in a few hours.  I'll check the boards later tonight.

Congrads on loosing MORE than you needed to.  That's awsome!  And intead of going crazy at Olive Garden because you had nine "safety pounds" more than goal, you did a great job.  Isn't Dr. Gens just such a sweetheart? 

Best of luck with the preop stuff, I'm sure you'll do great.  No time at all you'll be back to the boards telling us your back home and on your road to recovery.  :-)
