new to the boards

Hi all,

I'm just introducing myself as i'm new to this board. My name is Kristene, I am 34 F from Hudson, NH.  I've been lurking around reading lots of posts and thought  i would start jumping in.  My GBP is scheduled for 9/2/08...getting really excited and i am sure i will need to come here for support and valued info.  Look forward to meeting you all

Welcome to the board.  I see you are scheduled with Dr. Kim.  That's who did my RNY.  She's great.  I love the program at Tufts.  Glad to answer any questions you may have.  Again, welcome aboard!

Welcome to the board!  I have also heard HP is one of the better companies to work with.  Here's hoping!  I also have HP, but with a BMI between 35-40, so I need co-mos.  I'm working through the process now but am not yet at the point of having an appointment with the surgeon or a date for my RNY.  By the time I am up for surgery your's will have already been done.  Good luck with everything!

Hi Kristene!  I'm new as well, but I can tell you that everyone has made me feel very welcome here.  I don't have a surgery date, but will be getting GBS.  I look forward to hearing your thoughts and feelings from sugery.

Welcome!  You will like everyone here.  I am new to the board also, and everyone has made me feel welcome.  I am having lap band surgery this Friday.  I go between nervous and excited, but at the same time, this week is going so slow!!!  Good luck with your surgery, and make sure you post to tell us how you are.
