Yesterday wasn't nearly as hard as I thought it would be.

However, right now---I am starving.  Okay, so how can a 300 + woman be starving!

Need go go make some cream of wheat.  OH BOY!  However, there is a strange excitement about having gotten to this point.  YIPEE!

How long is your pre-op diet?

It seems like the time is dragging now, but after your surgery, you will start to forget about it.

It is VERY exciting to have made it through yesterday and be at this point.  Be proud of yourself!  :)

Two weeks.  Surgery is monday the 18th.  I think it helped that my preop visit at the hospital was yesterday too.  So, it was a day filled with excitement.  I need to stay busy the next two weeks.....this afternoon I am planning on going up to York to the beach and light house....anything to not think about food.

Keeping busy is a good thing.

Michelle, Day 2 was the hardest, but keeping busy is key to keep your mind off the lack of chewing you are doing.  What helps with the "chewing sensation" is munching on popsicles.

Best wishes.  You will find Dr Gould is a good surgeon and his staff is very supportive.
