I HAVE A DATE...sort of...

I talked to Erica today and I go in next Thursday for my pre-op appointments.  Then I'm PENCILED in for surgery on the 28th.  She needed to check the other surgeon's schedules to be sure and is supposed to get back to me tomorrow.  SWEET! 

Hey C - didn't you call it?  Didn't you say that we'd end up sharing a room?  You're the 28th, right?  

I'm the 23rd, but that's close enough! We'll be lap band buddies!

Congrats on getting your date! I was wondering about you while I was on vacation (and away from my internet access!)

I'm glad you got the date you wanted.  Did you explain to Erica why you needed an early date?  When I called I got a date of Aug 11 just for my 2nd appt.  I was hoping to get it done by the end of July or 1st week of August.   I'm one of two supervisors on my shift and the other supervisor is going out for eye surgery in Sept. so I was hoping to be back to work before she has to go out.  Do you think Erica could do anything for me.

I did explain why I needed a "quick date" to Erica, and it wouldn't hurt to talk to her.  However, I will tell you that I had to wait several weeks for my first appointment with Dr. Paciulli.  Maybe that's their standard practice.  But once you're in there, things move quickly.  Again, it never hurts to ask!  Best of luck.
