BCBS got back to us very quickly, so I'm hopeful again. I got my letter today, so I'll give the office a call tomorrow about scheduling. I'm actually giggling. You should have seen the happy dance I just did in the middle of my kitchen!
So, do I just schedule visit #2 now, or do I actually get to schedule the surgery tomorrow?

Awwww.... I'm so happy for you and very relieved, too! That's great news. I was able to book my surgery date in the same phone call as setting up my 2nd appt with Gens and the pre-op testing. I hope it all goes smoothly for you. And let us know if you beat the clock on Aruba!!!!!!! Great news, Neener. Treading

I just got off the phone with the office. My 2nd appt with Dr Gens is Aug 11, after he gets back from vacation. The Office is moving into it's new space today, so I could not get a surgery date. The lady (can't remember her name) said she would look into scheduling surgeries tomorrow. I had hoped it would be sooner. I should have called after Gail called me, but she said the Dr's assistant would be calling me with an appt. I only called after I had read your and Treadings posts yesterday. Maybe we'll have the same surgery day. I just hope it's soon.

I am altogether too experienced with medical procedures. LOL. My experience is that most everything takes longer than you think it will. But so as you know, I didn't want my surgery until mid-September. I both wanted and needed to take this entire process more slowly than most others I've met so far. Best of luck in getting a date that suits you. Treading
