1st appt with Dr Gens
I had my first appt with Dr Gens today. Everyone was right he is a very nice man. Of course he was nice at the seminar as well. I am 5 pounds under my goal weight!! 
He said once the insurance approval comes through I could pretty much have my surgery anytime. I don't see a problem with my main insurance as I have already spoken with them, however, my secondary insurance is Tricare (or whatever it's called now). I lost my ID card so I'll have to go to PNSH to get another one and then bring it over to Dr Gens office for them to copy, I'M doing that in the morning right after I get off work. I'd really like them to pick up the deductible so I would not have much out of pocket expense. This would really be helpful as my short term disability pay is only 2/3 of my regular pay, minus shift differential, etc. It's been a good day, I think I'm finally on my way.
