Dr. Gens Consult and Lost My Blue Book!

Hello,  I'm looking for last minute reassurance.  I'm seeing Dr. Gens tomorrow at 3 PM.  Yipee.  Now, I've had that blasted light blue covered booklet thing  (Program maunal) from PRH with me almost 24-7 since January!  I've written everything down in there and I've read it 20 times.  And suddenly, 4 days before my consult I can't find the thing for love or money!!!!  LOL.  Anyone can tell me how grave a sin this is?  Do I even need it at my initial consult?  Thanks, Treading

Hi Cindy,     Thanks so much for the well-wishes.  Yes, Dh is on board for the trip.  He's an old pro at surgery consults for me, sad to say.  But are you quite sure you haven't seen my blue book?  Could you check the back seat- your garage-anywhere?  Pleeeaassssseeee.  Thanks Treading

You don't need it.  Relax.  Take a deep breath.  It'll be just fine.  Ask Nancy for another when you see her, just cause it has good info you might want to revisit later.  Otherwise, you don't NEED it for anything else you still have infront of you before surgery.  For after surgery, you'll want those phone numbers - NUT, physical therapy, etc. But at Dr. Gens he'll just poke you a little, talk to you, and have you take a test you probably already know all the answers to.  It's not that hard.  If you get any wrong he lets you know your misconceptions.  There is no "flunking", don't worry about it. 

Well gosh, Umber, that was nice of you to help me out.  Phew!  I can relax.  I really wasn't too afraid I'd be in real trouble but.... it frosts me no end that it goes missing NOW.  But I am over it.  Completely past it now.  Thanks again.  Say, great new avi!  You look wonderful and ..active!  Treading
