Gee all I move away and this board comes alive?  Was it me?  LOL, just kidding. Things have been crazy busy but I am moved into my new house in NY.  But I had to come say hi to all my NH friends and surgery buddies.  I miss our meetings so much already.  I need to get connected with the WLS community here ASAP.  I haven't gotten to read the posts yet but will catch up when I have more time. To those pre op.. keep the faith and keep working the steps... it is worth it! To those having surgery best wishes for a safe surgery and a speedy recovery! To those post op... my continued support :)  More when I can.  Miss you all! Terrisa

Hello Terissa,     Yes, the board got busy thanks to some really motivated people (mcmicele...).  It takes some effort but it is really worth it to be able to converse with people we have so mu*****ommon with.  And that includes you depsite your relocation.  Glad to know you are getting settled.  Thanks so  much for the well wishes - as a pre-op, I took them quite personally.  Treading

Hey there!  And thank YOU.  It is nice to still be a part of the NH forum... since that is where my friends are... and I KNOW the program!  I will be around.  I also have to start exploring the NY board too.  I heard the local hospital here has a support group I can go to.  I just need to find out the dates etc. How are things going for you with the pre op stuff?

Thanks for asking.  My pre-op is going just fine.  I'm moving along slowly and quite enjoying the process.  I'm about to start pre-op testing No problems so far.  My surgery isn't until September so I'm taking a measured approach to things.  It's going real well.  Do hope you find a great support group on your first try.  Treading
