What's one thing that has made you smile recently?

Good Morning,

I had a good laugh at one of my dogs this morning.  We returned from  our morning walkies and my pudgy spaniel went right to the 'treat' closet - as usual.  Well, he dropped his treat and it got lost amongst the stuff and I gave him a new one in the interest of time.  Later, I could hear all this snuffling and sniffling and sure enough the little bugger was obsessively trying to locate that treat!  I stood and watched it for a moment and had to laugh thinking that people are not alone in suffering from eating disorders.  I started imagining my dog at one of Dr. W's behavior mod classes but I don't think it would work!  Treading

I am smiling all the time now.  Besides feeling so good (health-wise and emotionally) since losing the weight, life just seems like it's on an upswing for me and my family.  I'm riding and enjoying the wave while it's here.  Life is good!

Wonderful!! Sometimes a positive attitude and noticing how good things are ends up making everything even better!

Today we had our family pictures taken.  It has been such a long time since we have had them done because I never wanted one while I was "fat".  My sister in law is a photographer and she took them and I was so happy with the way they came out!!   That made me smile!

That's awesome! I was just looking at our family picture from last summer, and thinking about how great it will be next summer when I've lost significantly more weight!

Last night I was smiling a lot because I played softball (ok, it was just practice) for the first time in about 18 years.  I was able to actually catch the ball, hit the ball and run for the ball without getting out of breath.  Wicked fun!
