Support Group in Concord??

Hello All:  I'm new to this board, and was wondering if anyone knew of a support group that meets in Concord?  Or anywhere else?  Thanks!  Cathy.

Hi Cathy,  Welcome!  I don't know of a group in Concord.  But if there was one, I'd love to hear about it.  Just so you know, it seems most programs are welocming of all people even if you're not one of theirs.  That said, there are programs in Manchester ,Derry, Salem and Portsmouth.  And maybe others I'm not aware of.  Best of luck - Treading

Hi there, are you post - op?  DHMC in Manchester holds a post op support group every first Tuesday of the month at 5pm and we welcome all program grads... If you want more info PM me.

Yes, I am post-op.  Had surgery at DHMC in Lebanon on 1/15/08.  Would like more info on this meeting.  Do you usually attend this meeting?  What do they talk about?  Is there a speaker.  Thanks for the info.  Cathy.

I do attend these meetings pretty regularly.  There is no speaker or anything like that, we just get together to discuss things and to support one another.  The NUT from the DHMC Manch program as well as some others once in a while such as PA, RN & MAs, occasionally come too.  It is held at the DHMC - Manchester Campus in one of the conference rooms.  It is right off exit 8 of 93.

Hi Cathy, I only know of the pre & post op support groups @ CMC in Manchester - but Concord would be alot closer for me, Im looking into it & if I find out more info I'll be glad to share the info. If you find anything out please post it. Thanx, Linda
