One more question about Derry support group

Is there a charge to attend the general support group meeting (the one that's held on the 3rd Monday of the month)?

Hello,  I'm a pre-op with PRH but I do rememeber this question coming up a while ago and I'm sure there isn't a charge.  Well, as sure as I am of anything these days and with my shocking memory that means I'm guessing!  LOL.  I'll dig a bit to see if I can find that thread.  Treading

No there is not a charge.  As far as I know, all support group meetings are free.  I have been to the Derry meetings a few times, pre-op, and have not been charged a dime.  You just have to sign in once you get into the meeting. Crystal

Where are these located?? I am in Lawrence MA but this is close to me rather than truck into Boston

Hi Debbie,  These Derry meetings are held in the Parkland Medical Center in Derry.  The have a website and the website for the bariatric program out of Portsmouth Regional Hosptial has directions.  But here you go:

Take Route I-93 North: Exit 4 Turn Slight Right onto Route 102 East toward Derry - Take a right on to Birch Street PMC will be approximately 1 mile on the left.

The meetings are held in a room pretty close to the entrance and the staff can get you there in no time.  Hope that helps.  Treading
