QUESTION?
I met with Nancy today at PRH, got weighed and was given the names /phone numbers of NUT & PT and Dr. Wagner.
I also have to lose 12lbs. and see her next month.
Now if I lose the 12 lbs and have not completed my evaluations do I get to go see the surgeon?
I was told by someone that I could meet with the surgeon after I lost the weight and still continue getting my therapy with Wagner etc.
I guess it doesn`t make a difference cuz surgery certainly won`t take place until EVERYTHING IS IN ORDER.
1 more question: Does the surgeon sometimes send you for more tests?
Nancy mentioned that I thought?
Hi there, I am not sure about seeing the surgeon before you lose all the weight. I know you can see the surgeon for your initial consult before the weight is off, however they made me wait until I had lost everything to see her again (by that time I had done all of the pre-requisits) As far as additional testing... I have had several different blood draws, Ultrasound on my belly and other organs, Upper GI EKG. Hope this helps, Kate

Jennifer, as long as on the day of surgery the scale says you lost the 12 lbs, you are good to go. And yes, they do weigh you that morning, I have heard they have cancelled surgeries because of non compliance. Now I did it in 05, and hubby in 06. I don't know if it has changed since then, I wouldn't think so.
Nope that part hasn't changed. I had my surgery in November and it was made abundantly clear to me that if I went over my goal, Dr. Paciulli would cancel the surgery.

Hi Jennifer,
I spoke with Nancy about some of your questions and she is more than happy to help you out with them. The easiest way, she said, was to give her a call at 603-334-2006. Hope that works for you!
