How many times do we meet with the Nutrionist?                   I think I recall we meet with Dr. Wagner for a total of 6 times? Is there anyone else we meet with besides Nancy of course, before we meet with the surgeon? JEN

Hi Jennifer,

I met with the nutrionist at least 3 times before and 2 times after.  Everyone is different. Besides her and Nancy it will just be the surgeon.  Good luck.

Hi Jen, I also wanted to say you will also have tests before surgery. Like Gallbladder ultrasound, cardiogram, bloodwork, and other people at the hospital before surgery and maybe a test for sleep apnea. ( I already was on a C-Pap machine ) But these are all for a good reason. Also I believe I met with Dr. Gens once and then my husband and I went to see him before surgery so he could talk to us both and know I had support at home and that someone will be with you when you first come home. I don't know who you have decided to do your surgery but you will have a choice. Also Nancy will give you a blue booklet with info in it on your surgery. Read it good as this will be your bible when you first come home. Mine is all highlighted with lines. Good Luck and keep us updated.   Roxanne
