that's right all you lurkers out there!....... I yes I have a date and got my approval!.... DECEMBER  18 is my date! for the bypass!.... everthing has gone wonderful with DR. Gens staff!  my approval came within only a few days of being admitted!.......and the office staff was very kind and helpful too! i'm excited and a little nervous!

That is great. I finaly get to meet with him on the 28 of the month. I had my pre testing done on tuesday. good luck scott

Hey congrats!!!!  The entire office is fantastic.  Love them.

Woo hoo!!!  I had my surgery last December.  You'll continue to find that the hospital staff from when you check in for surgery to up on the 4th floor are all great!

thanks for responding!.. i really am just so thrilled!..... yes there is alot of stuff to do to get to this point but i didn't get this fat over night so i have been patient through the process! Strivingforhealth. i was at the support meeting that you spoke at. at least i think that's you..... you and your partner spoke..anyways, i had a question for you. i'm a skier, and i remembered that you had your surgury last december, did you ski last season?. and what was it like? where you fine? how long did you wait?.......well i guess that's more that one question huh? i've got alot actually about getting out on my skiis.....i'm going to the warren miller flick at the music hall this coming week!. ( a ski movie) groundsdude...sorry i can't recall your screen name off the top of my head.....where you at the last support meeting?.....good luck with your journey! terrisa.............omg!.look at you! i love that new pic of yours! boyu i wish this NH board would get alittle busier!. i thought maybe that after the summer things would pick up!. but ahhhhhh it really needs some posting huh?

Hi, I am thrilled for you. Just wait until this time next year.  You will look back and say, "hey that was easy, and I'm so glad I did this." You are going to do great. I hope to see you at this support group on Monday. It will be the last one for you before your surgery. Sit back and enjoy the ride. hi Roxanne!.......... like i said already in your pics!. you look GREAT!... what a big difference!......inside and out! you are just glowing from the inside!...... i see dr gens on monday then i'm thinking of heading over the the support meeting too!... i'll have my adroable hubby with me this time. so if he isn't in overload of info from than meeting with dr gens we will be going over to the support meeting too!. i hope to say hello to you this time!.....  i really am geting excited now!. i really am not to nervous, i have been wanting and thinking about GB for sooooo long!. i just am excited!
