Says it all in the title. I need start attending his sessions in Derry. Anyone know when the next one is?? TIA!

Hi Jesscap5, Dr, Wagner's next session for Derry (the general support group) is this coming Monday, November 5, 2007 from 6-7 pm in Parkland Medical Center's in-service classroom (it's next to the cafeteria). For future reference, I've pasted the full schedule of support groups offered by Portsmouth Regional Hospital and Parkland Medical Center's NH Medical and Surgical Weight Loss Center. Support group meetings for the NH Medical and Surgical Weight Loss Center ( Portsmouth Regional Hospital and Parkland Medical Center )

General Support Groups:

Parkland Medical Center --

1st Monday of every month from 6-7 pm in the In-Service Classroom in the hospital

Open to all patients, family and supportive friends

Portsmouth Regional Hospital –

4th Monday of the month from 6:30-8 pm

Open to all patients, family and supportive friends

Postoperative Support Groups:

Parkland Medical Center –

* 3rd Monday of every month from 6-7 pm in the In-Service Classroom in the hospital

* Patients only

Portsmouth Regional Hospital –

* Meetings held in Shoals Building Classrooms

* 2nd Monday of the month from 5:30-6:30 pm (for postoperative patients only)

* Lap Band group from 6:30-7:30 pm (for postoperative patients only)

* “Far Outers” group from 6:30-730 pm for patients 18 months or more post-surgery

Thank you for posting that however I don't think that's the one. The one Dr. Wagner and Nancy Seesman were talking about starts at 7pm in Derry and is a longer session. I don't think it's for general support and I have to attend 3 of those ones.

Well Dr. Wagner wrote it down for me and for the life of me I can't find it (go figure). You don't have to go out of your way but thank you very much- I appreciate it. (I'd call them but I'm at work)

Doc usually holds his modification classes right ofter support group. hey are eather 1.5 ofr 2 hours long. they are on the 1st and 3rd mondays. When i did it i came in the middle of the lesson and stayed for the 3 classes. it realy dosent matter when you start it as long as you do the 3 classes scotty

Thanks, Scotty. He's correct. But I would still suggest that you call Dr. Wagner at 427-1428 to confirm.

I also talked to Nancy and she confirmed the meetings are at 7 after the general session. But, she also stated that you do in fact need to talk to Dr. Wagner directly before attending the meeting.

Well he mentioned it to me in the appointment I had with him and I emailed him last week and he did give me more info so I assume it's okay to go tonight. It better be cause I'm coming from a long ways away!!

Now I just have to find the place......
