To everyone who has already been banded, We Need your Support!!!

This board has grown very quiet over the last couple months. I thought it could be end of summer, getting kids ready for school and the fall coming and now here we are going into the holiday months. As i read through the board and notice that alot of people had there surgery or have there date and the rest of us are either just beginning our journey or almost at the end or even have question about where do i go from here. We have lots of question, we're nervous or scared because we are venturing on a journey that only the people that have been there can support us or hold our hands as we go through it. This is a major life changing for all of us and we need all of you who have already been there. I realize i can move off this board and venture to the different states but i live in NH and want to talk to people in NH that have been to the same clinic or have had the same doctor and know what to expect from them. Come back to the board and help us get through this. Yes you can post once a week, take the time and answer some of the questions we have, hold my hand as i go through this Please!!!

You are more than welcome to PM me if you ever have any specific questions.  I too have Dr. Campbell and I had my surgery on July 12th of this year.  I have lost 57 pounds since surgery and have 33 left to get to my personal goal.   So,please, any questions, just ask. I spend most of my time on the main lap band board and come over here once in awhile.

Hi,         I am recently banded (10/17) and will answer any questions. I check in once or twice a week. People were there for me and I want to be there for others. I am just coming off the 2 week liquids and am looking forward to adding sometasty munchies. lol  My surgical areas arehealing beautifully and I will see the surgeon on Thursday. Looking forward to being able to relax in a nice bubble bath. I too like to stay on the NH board. Maybe we could do a impromtu meeting once a month like another board does with their Mass  members. They meet at a restaurant for dinner once a month. Anybody interested?????                                                 Linda
