I have been approved

Hello all,                    I have avoided the forum this summer because I felt I was dwelling to much on the surgery and was afraid my hopes were getting to high. But as of today     I  HAVE Been APPROVED!!!!!.   SO i AM BACK AND EXCITED. I see Dr Paculli in two weeks to set a date. SO I am back  reading everybodies topics. and catching up.   Would love to hear how others are doing. . To others waiting, it is worth the wait just nerve racking .                                                      Linda

Congrats on your approval!  That was the most stressful part of the whole process... the waiting on approval!

Congratulations!!!!!!! I woud be excited too! I'm still in the early process...it's hard because of travel and certain cir****tances in my life now that are preventing me to move right along in the process...but I'm not giving up! Let us know when your date is!

 Hi Linda, I am so happy for you! Even though I have had the surgery it seems as though this is all I think about. I guess it will stop at some point in time. But like my husband told me, " It was a life changing surgery so of course you are going to think about it a lot." Let us know when you have a date.  Are you having lap band or Gastric?  I hope your date will be soon as I know you are getting anxious to get this all behind you. Congrats!!!  Both my partner and I had Dr. Pacuilli as our surgeon and she is WONDERFUL!!!

Hi and Thanks to all *****sponded with thei Kudoos!!!  I have been out straight since school started and just got back to my mail. Well since I posted Dr P's office called back and scheduled my surgery date....Oct 17th.  It could have been the end of this month but  our 36th anniversary is the 9th of Oct and I wanted to celebrate with food and not liquid shakes. It is only fair to my dear husband who has put up with me these past 7 months. I am so EXCITED!!!!    Good Luck to all who are waiting, in the process and who have succeceded!  Thanks again for all your support.  I hope I am always there for you also.   Anyone who has Harvard Pilgrim, it was easy and they are great.                                Linda

Hi Cindy, Remember me? I am schedule to see the doctor on October 24th. I was told that i should get a date for my surgery then. I am also having the lapband so now i have more questions for you. I was suppose to lose 10 lbs and then i was in a cast for the last 6 weeks and on steriods, so i gaing all but a 1/2 lb back. Do you know for sure what happens if i don't lose it again by the time i see the doctor? And how long were you in the hosipital for, how long were you out of work, and how much weigh have you lost since you started? Thanks so much for your help. I'm very scared only about gaining the weigh back from the medicine, and hoping she sees that and says yes you can have your surgery anyway.  thanks
