Physical therapist - what to expect

My appointment with the physical therapist (in Derry) was bumped up to tomorrow.  I'm just wondering what to expect at this first meeting (and how long the appointment will last.)

I'll answer my own question, just in case someone else ends up looking for the same info-  I met with the physical therapist.  She weighed me in, then spent half an hour talking to me about how to exercise before and after the surgery.  She also showed me how to take my pulse so I can figure out if I am keeping my heart rate up enough during my workouts.

 Sorry I did not see this earlier. I could have told you since I went on Tuesday. she was very nice. I have had all my meetings and appts, next month I meet with Dr. Pacculli . The sooner the better for me. I also went through my meetings in Derry. Best of luck.                 Linda

Are you all done with youyr classes too then?  I am starting mine on August 6, since Dr. Wagner is on vacation next time.  (I could have started last Monday, but my husband came with me to the support group meeting and we had to get back to send the babysitter home.)
