Insurance Approval and Surgery Date March 27th!

Hello Everyone, My long journey has ended,I am being banded by Dr Cambell at CMC a week from today! I started this process in April of 2006 and as long as it took,it seemed to go by very fast.Anthem BCBS approved my claim within 2 days of being submitted.I am very lucky to have had such smooth sailing.I went on Optifast for a few weeks to help with the pre op weight loss,it was very difficult,I wish anyone luck who is in their liquid phase,it is rough.Good luck to you all on your journey! Hi Julie, Good luck! Dr. Campbell did my gastric bypass last August. She is a wonderful surgeon! I also did the optifast for my pre-op. It was rough but it worked. I lost 23 lbs in one month on it and since surgery have lost another 82. I wish you a very speedy recovery and an uneventful surgery! I would like to start some kind of support group in the Concord / Laconia area at some point. Would you be interested?

Good luck! My date is 2 days after yours at the Elliot. I am getting banded also and TOTALLY know about the long wait. Now that it is here the time is flying by!
