Hello, I also live in Manchester and I go to DMHC in manchester...the program moves slowly but it doesnt cost anything and they do require you to lose 10lbs. Just by changing the amoutn of food you take in will take those punds off. Any questions feel free to ask me. Im having my surgery Feb 5th. I started the program in May of 2006. I also have a young son(2years old). Good Luck

Hello, I have medicaid. Not really sure of all the insurance they take. The next meeting is Feb. 9th at the DMHC Manchester. The meetings are the 2nd Friday of each month from 2-3:30pm. I think the time is a bad time...kids getting out of school, getting off work, ect. anyway the meeting will answer alot of your questions. If you think this is something you really want to do make an appt with you reg. doctor and get some of the tests going. It save a ton of time. If you go to the meeting in FEb that will count towards the 3 you must attend. At the end of the meeting you will get an info packet to fill out and get weighed. That will be your starting weight. You must loss 10lbs. from that unless you go to your doctor prior and gt weighed then that will be your start weight. Feel free to ask me more question...I will do my best to answer them....

Welcome Tonya! I am having my surgery through Darmouth Hitch**** in Manchester. As Carolyn posted there are requirements which must be met. I met the weight loss as of this month's meeting, called on the 16th and was lucky to get a appointment with the Nutritionist for today (24th). I also have an appointment with the Surgical Nurse on Feb 5th. THings are starting to move along more quickly. I have friends who have also had the surgery through Catholic Medical Center (Dr. Campbell) and have good luck with them as well. Good luck in this journey. I believe you will enjoy the results!
