Ladies whats the deal with hair on the chin???? I never had it until I started to really put on the pounds and man now I have to pluck all the time. Will this go away after the surgery? Or at least slow down?

I too increasingly had problems with facial hair as I packed on the pounds. I ended up seeing an endocrinologist who diagnosed me with PCOS - polycystic ovarian syndrome. Not only does it get worse as you gain weight but the pcos also causes you to gain weight and makes it harder to lose weight. Ask your doctor about a referal to an endocrinologist for further testing. My endo put me on Metformin and Spironolactone which helped some but now that I have had surgery I am hoping that the hair will clear up more on it's own as the pcos gets better. I am only 6wks post op so it's too soon to tell.

my doctor said it has to do with hormones.it started happening to me about a year ago,it makes me cringe every time i find them,i pluck them immediatly.now i do a check every few days, lol.it has been the same for me before and after surgery,no difference either way.jennifer.
