At Last

I got the call today to set up my surgery. Its set for Feb 5th...6 weeks from Christmas. Wi**** was sooner but at least I have a date. I go in for my pre-op Jan 15th. Best present I could of gotten....;)

CONGRATS!!! What a wonderfull christmas present to get! I am still waiting for them to call me in for the meeting with the Nurse/Nut. All the paperwork is in, the weight loss was done by Dec. meeting... I want to get this train moving on down the tracks!!! Have a WONDERFUL New Years!! What a great way to start the new year.. with a new you!!

Thank you Tammy, Iam so happy!!! I know how you feel. It seemed like Id never get to this point. I too was worried about the phyc. eval. but it was a breeze. Now getting the next two appts out of the way will be a huge thing. Seeing the nutr. is great. She gives you alot of info....and a little quiz about htings. Just know your supplement and show you can read lables all will go well. The visit with Susan is great....she is so nice. all bussiness but nice. She will give you a little test at the end. Kinda on the same lines as the quiz in the meetings. There was such a long wait in between seeing Linda and Susan for me. Just not enough of them to go around for all of us. When I had my appt with Dr. Gould he told me they were working on getting help. You have done a great job getting stuff done. I hope your appts move right along too. Heres to the New Year!!!! Carolyn - congratulations on receiving your date!!! Those 6 weeks will go by quickly - even though you think they won't. You'll have so much to do to prepare yourself (your family, your home, etc.) that it will be the eve before surgery in the blink of an eye. Wishing you all the best!! Warm regards, Bonnie

Wow you girls are great. I love all the support. With the holidays going by I too am starting to feel like the 6 weeks are going to fly by. I have pre-op on Jan 15th. Already starting to get my supplements and getting child care set up. I have a 11 year old and a 2 year old. Its going to be a great new year!!!! Thanks again everyone!

Congrats on your date! If it makes you feel any better..I entered the program over a year ago...decided to do lap band and have been waiting since MAY to get in on it there. I had my appt with Linda in December but have heard nothing about my appt with Susan and honestly am about to cry from the agony of waiting. I wish they would beef up that staff. Not like lack of patients in the area or anything! If yours is not til February that is probably meaning I will not get anything til April! OK....enough of my pity...back to you. I AM happy you have your date! Congrats again.
