Hey, let's get to know each other!

Hi, My name is Roxanne I am 53 and I am from Rochester, NH. I have a great husband of 35 years, 3 grown children and 3 grandchildren. I will have my surgery in Portsmouth, NH. I just found out Monday that my Ins. Cigna has approved my surgery. I have my final meeting with Dr. Gens on Jan 3rd and will get a date at that time. I am so excited to begin my journey to a healthy life. I have been in program since last Feb. The ins. is what held me up. I found out in June I needed to do a 6 month medically weigh in to be approved. I finished that in Dec. Had to lose 11 pounds and have now lost 17. I am trying to be good with the holidays. I would like to keep in touch with anyone as you will know what I am going through. Happy Holidays !! Roxanne

Hello this is Donna and I am in New Durham NH. I had the surgery on Dec. 29th. I went to the preop on Dec. 27th. were you there, I know there was 2 ladies there from Rochester. And I was there with my husband or should say he was there with me. Hi Linda, My name is Stacey I am 36 approaching 37 in March. I am married and have 3 (Teenagers ) I used to live in Derry in 97 through 2000. I know reside in Nashua. I am currently new @ here and am just starting my WLS journey. I just want to be HEALTHY and be able to be mobile. Well, I should say more active, I'm NOT bed bound or anything of that nature. Thank God.....I'd like to prevent that. I have tried many diets and exercise plans and nothing seems to work permantely... Well, I am on my way...Already attended a seminar and first support meeting this month....I am excited to get this started.... Stacey
