I went to the info session on the 12th of october. Then i went to cmc info night the 2nd of october. I have decided to go with portsmouths program.I sent in my application to portsmouth to enter there program. How long after you sent yours out did it take nancy to get back in touch with you to set up your appointment?? I sent it out on the17th. so it has been 2 weeks. I know that you don't want you to call and bother them because these things take time. But I want to get this ball rolling. thanks Scott

It took me about 2 o 3 weeks so be patient and call they do understand you will love the program at prh.

Hi Becky This is Donna I had my lapband done on Dec 29th -06, I seemed to be doing pretty good at first, it has been 3 weeks today. and it seems that I have gained a little weight. Hi, it was a bit over two weeks before I heard back and then a week or so out till the the appointment to actually meet with Nancy, which i did yesterday! She is very nice, a little dry but nice. I started making the phone calls to day to set up all my appointments with the psych, nutritionist, etc. I am thinking by the time I get everythinh done, the surgery will end up being in January. Nancy told me I have to lose 13 lbs. Shouldn't we get extra credit for doing this during the holidays?! Its going to be tough but at least there is an end goal. Good luck to you!

I didn't hear form her for about 3 weeks and gave her a call. Turns out my application was stuck to the back of somebody elses. That was last month. I had my second apt with her today and am now going for preop testing upper gi and gallbladder etc.... keep on going on... but if you don't hear from her definitely call and check.

I have not looked into Portsmouth, I am looking into CMC and Elliot. What made you go with Portsmouth over CMC?

cindy I choose portsmouth because doctor campbell only opperates on me with bmi below 55. i figures that i would need to loose over 100 lbs to do this. I have enough time tring to loose weight. Plus my wife liked the people when we went to the info night.
