Waiting for surgery

Hello, I have done all I need to do to have the surgery. I am going through the Dartmouth Hitch**** in Manchester. It has been a wonderful experience. However at this point Im getting kinda down. I saw the nurse last week 10/2 and now just have to see the surgeon Dr. Gould. I cant get an appt until 11/29. I was so dissapointed!...That seems to far away. Im just so ready to have this done. So if I dont see him till then that means I most likely wont get the surgery done until Jan. I know it will be worth the wait. Just want it done.

Hi Carolyn, I would recommend following up with his office to see if he's had any cancellations. I'm having my surgery on October 31st, in a different facility. I have had very good luck in rescheduling my appointments to a sooner date. Good luck! LIsa

Carolyn are you having the RNY or the Lap Band? I was told I would be moving along in October for the Lap Band but don't even have an appt with the nurse yet. I think they are getting overloaded.

I am having the RNY. I agree this office seems to be overwhelmed. They seem like they do a great job but just not enough of them to go around. I called to see if he has any openings to call me...the lady on the phone wasnt pleasant. So, I wait...Nov 29th to see the doctor.
