Nashua NH. St. Joseph's Hospital Dr. Brown I've gone to the support group meetings at St. Joseph, they have a very good staff there and a good turn out at their support group meetings. I can't remember Dr. Brown's first name, but you should be able to find something based on St. Joseph's Hospital. Good luck! And welcome to the neighborhood Anne in NH Wilton, NH PreOp: Surgery 8/8/06 Connie Campbell M.D. Catholic Medical Center (429)379/347/150

Hi Tara - welcome to Nashua next month! I also live in Nashua. I had the bypass surgery in March, 2006. I started out last summer at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center with Dr. David Drinkwater. However, 2 days before they were to set my surgery date, Dr. Drinkwater resigned and moved to another hospital and they stopped the program. Dr. Brown was at St. Josephs, however he has moved to Southern New Hampshire (which is in Nashua) and I don't think they have started the program back up, but are planning on it. I am sure you could call SNHMC and check it out. I moved to Saints Memorial Medical Center in Lowell, MA - which is 12 miles from Nashua. The program there is unbelievable - they support staff at the Weight Management Clinic are excellent and I have been so impressed with their operation. Dr. Michael Jiser did my surgery. However, effective 8-1-06 (today!) they have moved the entire Weight Management Clinic to Lowell General Hospital. They currently have 3 surgeons, but are adding 3 more to the staff. Lowell General is building them their own building which will have all the staff located together - nutritionist, doctors, nurses, psychologists and they are planning on an exercise program and a gym perhaps in the new building. All the support meetings will be held there also. They have meetings for postop and preop folks on a monthly and bi-monthly basis. They were wonderful to accept all the progress I had made with Dr. Drinkwater's program and I had my surgery in March. I think they have a wonderful program and it is not that far from Nashua. Anyway - feel free to email me if you have any questions - of if you want to talk on the phone - let me know and I will give you my phone numbers. I hope you like Nashua, I have been here for 6 years and love it. Good luck. Barbara
