I am all booked for Surgury

Well, it is for real this time ! I am all booked for surgury on July 25 at Saint's Memorial Hosp. I won the battle with the insurance company and my husbands employer was very helpfull in making an exception to the plans exclusion (thank God) I have to say I god a little nervous when the told me the odds of death are 1 in 200 and had me sign off on it. I am hoping for a lot of prayers and wishes of good luck. I am afraid that I have been bad with the" last meal syndrome" this week. It is hard to say good by to a old and comforting friends ! I just hope I do not gain too much before tuesday I am having RNY Bypass and I hope I made the right choice. wish me luck! Soon to be on the losing side. Joann

Hi Joann, I had my surgery in March at Saints Memorial and I couldn't be happier. Dr. Jiser did my surgery, but all of the surgeons at the Weight Management Clinic are super and the staff in the clinic are unbelievable. Good luck with everything and let us know how you do.
