Things finally looking up.. Got 1st Fill

Hello Everyone, Well things are finally looking better. After 9 weeks I finally got my first fill. I been stuck at 23 pounds for awhile. But better I got to talk w/ my Dr about the concerns I been having. Got alot cleared up which is good. So now I figured anything I will just deal with him and I dont need to deal w/ other people I been having conflicts with. But today I start back on solids so I guess I will soon know how restricted I am. Two days on Liquids Stink I dont miss that at all. But Hopefully it will be smooth sailing from here and I will start seeing the scale move down some. I go back in 6 weeks for another fill. which wil be half of what i got now. I am just glad things finally going right. Thanks Natacha

Hi Natacha, I'm glad that things are looking better, but I am wondering (and pardon my silly questions ) but what do you mean by your first fill? I'm scheduled to have my surgery on 7.10.06, and am not sure what the term is referring to. Hope things continue to go in the right direction for you!, Trudi

Hello, I had the lapband. Is that what you are having? Well until you get a fill you dont have any restriction. so what you lose until that point is a bonus. But nowwith a fillmy stomach canonly take a smaller amount of food than before. I certainly can notice it now. I also dropped 6 pounds the past 5 days soits going the right direction. But if you are having RNY you dont need to even worry about this. Natacha
