parkland Medical Center, Derry?

Does anyone know if they perform lap bands at Parkland medical center , I know they have a bariatrics center. Thanks wanna be bander Stacey

Hi stacy, Parkland hospitial does bo the banding procedure, the program is about 1 yr old and I believe they only have one MD douing the procedure. but the hospitial is really nice. it is small enough for you to recieve the attention you need from the staff.

I was told that parkland doesn't do them possibly as of recently. But there sister hospital portsmouth regional hospital does but I know they are connected and the doctor at parkland that used to do them doesn't do them anymore. So maybe they will be doing them there with the team from portsmouth and they have a great team.

If Parkland doesn't do them, check out CMC in Manchester. Dr. Connie Campbell is great and has done many lapbands. She just brought on another Dr. as the practice has grown so much. I am positive they do not do any bariatric prodecures at Parkland, and yes it was as of recently. I believe it was due to the Medicare bomb dropped earlier this year....currently they are refering all their bariatric business to Portsmouth, to try to help them out on the 100 patient minimum for medicare approved site regulations.
