I got my date today !

I wanted thank everyone for the words of encouragment. I saw the dieticion today and I lost the ten pounds I needed to and got my Operation date. 6/24/06 ! Now I just hope my insurance will cover it , the insurance co stated that they only would cover it if it is medically necessary ( have many of the diagnosis needed ) In the long run it would be cheaper than all the meds they are paying for. keep your fingers crossed for me. i decided to go with the bypss operation , my b/p is very high and not well controlled so i need to lose alot of weight fast I just cant wait thanks again Joann

update; I had to cancell my surgery date for 6/24/06. My insurance company has not sent approval yet. I was told it is under review and could take 4-6 weeks for an answer! so I guess I am in the waiting game now.
