Hey everyone..... I posted am I alone here a few days back accidentily i was logged in on my wifes name... I am three weeks post op and down 47lbs. At the begining of my third week i experienced some nausea which caused me to not be able to get my protein, water, or food down. This ultimately put me in the hospital over this past weekend. I was in there from saturday night till monday morning. I felt better with all IV's they gave me so they thought it was just dehydration. After I got home that evening I started feeling Ill again and I am right back where I started. I have gotten about 12oz of water down all day if that. I went to the dr today he is ordering me an Upper GI and some other tests. Has anyone ever had anything like this at all? I am really stressed out about this and starting to get to panic mode.... The thought of food is making me sick. I dont know, I am not even sure if this is what this site is for I am jsut stressed and was hoping to find someone else thats been where I am ....... Thanks! Jay

Jason this is definately what this site is for. I do't have any advice personally, I am six months post op and have had no problems. But I would post this on the main message board if you haven't already, I am sure there are lots of others that have experienced this. I know that when I went to my six month check up recently I was sitting in the waiting room and the girl across from me asked if I had had the surgery. She was One month post op and telling me that she was unable to keep anything down, including water. So I know that it happens, I couldn't offer her advice and I am not sure what the Surgeon ended up telling her, but Good Luck and I hope you feel better soon and they can figure out what is going on. Blessings, Jennie

Hey Jason I am 2 months out now an I am now getting so I can't eat or drink. Everything is hard to keep down. I talked to my doctor and he basically told me to start over with just liquids (60g protien in shakes + water). I feel bad you had to be in the hospital I hope everything is fine now.
