AZURE BLUE'S SURGERY
Hi, dear Melissa, and Hi, fellow NH'ers!
Thanks so much for posting about my status! I am doing very well. The surgeon said my procedure was "text-book" in its lack of complications and the staff at CMC in Manchester took excellent care of me.
I was discharged on June 1, late in the day, and have been equal parts resting and walking and/or stair climbing. The pain is manageable with liquid Roxicet. I was advanced to full liquids the day after I left the hospital and although I have a protein concoction I like, I am already trying to innovate on the theme because it's getting old.
I still have a lot of IV fluids and gas/air inside me and feel like a big old watermelon and I am waiting not too patiently for it to come off.
You guys are wonderful - thanks so much for your kindness in thinking about me.
With much love,
Anne
